🗓️ Weekly Portfolio Review Week 34: Aug 19 – Aug 25

Hey, eToro family! 🌍

It’s time for our weekly catch-up on the Santiago1000 portfolio! I’m thrilled to share that we’re up +1.58% this week, bringing our YTD gains to an impressive +38.75%. Over the past 12 months, we’ve grown by +52.85%—a huge thanks to all of you who’ve been on this journey with me.

🚀 Top Performers in Our Portfolio:

This week’s stars have truly shined, with some impressive gains:

$BLDR (Builders FirstSource Inc): You’ve built us strong with a +13.08% leap!

$VST (Vistra Corp): Powering through with +8.09%.

$BTC: Bitcoin shows no signs of slowing, rocketing up by +7.50%.

$HIMS (Hims & Hers Health Inc): Steady and healthy growth at +7.38%.

$ENPH (Enphase Energy Inc.): A powerful surge of +5.68%.

The Santiago1000 portfolio ended the week up +1.58%, outperforming key indices like the Dow Jones +1.3%, Nasdaq +1.4%, and S&P 500 +1.5%. The excitement continues into next week with Nvidia’s earnings report, which I believe could be the most pivotal market event of the year.

🌍 Weekly Market Insights:

The U.S. market ended the week on a high note, buzzing from Jerome Powell’s hints of impending rate cuts. This dovish outlook has invigorated our beloved Big Tech, with $TSLA (Tesla Motors, Inc.) and $NVDA (NVIDIA Corporation) leading the charge. As borrowing costs are set to ease, the tech sector’s potential for growth becomes even more exciting. As we journey into next week, eyes will be glued to Nvidia’s earnings report, which, no doubt, will be pivotal for our AI growth narrative. This could be a game-changer, and yes, I feel it might just be the most significant moment for the market this year.

đź’ˇ Investment Decisions:

No new additions this week, and we’ve held firm to our current positions. Patience is golden, and we don’t rush to judgement here in Santiago1000. As always, I’m scouting the horizon for the next great opportunity.

🌟 Tip of the Week:

Invest for the long-term. It’s a mantra we hear often, but it truly lies at the heart of successful investing. Looking back at history, this approach has consistently delivered. It’s the patience and discipline—not the quick-witted gambling on stocks—that will see us through to more beautiful years ahead.

Thank You Note:

From the bottom of my heart, thank you all for entrusting your hard-earned money with the Santiago1000 portfolio. Here’s to our shared growth and prosperity! Stay tuned for yet another week of opportunities, learning, and hopefully, happy gains!

Until our next update,

Santiago
