What a rollercoaster this week! 🌀 Wall Street started off in the red with the S&P 500 ($SPX) having its worst day since September 2022, only to bounce back with its best day since November 2022 by Thursday. Recession fears early in the week turned into optimism as strong labour market data calmed the storm. By week’s end, the S&P 500 closed flat, barely down by 0.04%—the smallest decline in over six years.
In contrast, the Santiago1000 portfolio held strong, finishing the week up by +0.77%, outperforming major indices like the Nasdaq Composite and the Dow Jones.
