The S&P 500 gained +1.6% this week, while the Nasdaq rose +2.0%. My portfolio followed this positive trend and remains more than 50% ahead of the S&P 500 over the last 12 months. This outperformance reflects a coherent strategy and careful asset selection, consistently beating the market with controlled risk.

Dave ($DAVE) surged +17.86%, Tesla ($TSLA) gained +12.85%, and Palantir ($PLTR) jumped +11.97%. Also noteworthy were Vistra ($VST) up +11.54% and Rheinmetall ($RHM.DE) up +8.71%. This shows how diversification allows us to capture opportunities across sectors and geographies.
On the macro front, markets faced volatility and caution. Monday’s higher-than-expected US inflation print pushed rate cut expectations further out, causing a market pullback. Tuesday and Wednesday brought renewed worries about a Chinese slowdown, pressuring commodities and European equities. By Thursday, weaker US jobs data revived hopes of a future Fed pivot, and by Friday, strong tech earnings fuelled a rally that sent US indices higher. Macro uncertainty remains, but markets are proving resilient and focused on company fundamentals.
One key lesson I’d like to share: investing is not about getting rich overnight. Patience, regular monthly deposits, and reinvestment of profits allow compounding to do the heavy lifting. True wealth is built through discipline, not luck. Staying consistent in accumulating quality assets and avoiding emotional decisions is the key to long-term success.
