📈 Market Overview:

U.S. stocks capped a four-week winning streak, with nine of the 11 S&P sectors closing positively. Health Care led, while Communication Services and Technology lagged. Retail sentiment was high, with retail investors net buying +$4.8B in cash equities, the highest weekly inflow since April 2022.

He’s back

CEO drama at OpenAI as Sam Altman returns after a stint at $MSFT . A new board, including Salesforce’s $CRM Bret Taylor, aims for more stable governance. Altman’s ouster sparked staff threats to quit, calling it an “embarrassing circus show.”

Blowout report

$NVDA’s Q3 results beat expectations with revenue tripling to $18B. Data center revenue hit a record $14.5B. Despite strong performance, shares dipped 1.7% post-market. Nvidia anticipates a significant sales decline in China in Q4.

‘Proceed carefully’
